[Swiss-list] Direct Consular Filing in Bern, Switzerland

Hi there,

My fiance and I will be doing DCF at the US Embassy in Bern, Switzerland just after we get married this year in June.

We were wondering if there's anyone out there who recently went through this whole process and would care to share their experience and might have some hints for us ;)

Right now we have a question regarding the police certificates - as far as we know, Switzerland doesnt keep such a thing as a local police record...? Will the "Strafregisterauszug" be enough?
