Determined and success oriented Investment promotion person

THE COMPANY:
Greater Zurich Area, Inc. A broadly based Swiss non profit organization
promoting investment into Switzerland.

POSITION TYPE:
Assistant / Key Account Manager; Full-Time
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cold calling and proactively, persistently following-up on leads,
  phone inquiries, referrals and research
- Inform interested people in a competent / enthusiastic way about
  benefits of our region
- Data mining and managing, updating the lead database.
- Support marketing activities, incl. representation at events
- Use events to further network and to source new prospects.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of and connections to Swiss / European culture, politics and
  economics
- At least two years of successful sales or business development
  experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with and knowledge of how to handle "C" level clients

REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable and experienced with pursuing leads over the phone
- Very proactive and flexible, with impeccable follow-through. Eager
  willingness to take on various tasks.
- High interest to learn about Switzerland and the industries we are
  focusing on
- Candidate enjoys working in a small company with strong
  entrepreneurial environment
- Independence and self motivation are key!
- Ability and willingness to identify with the foundation's goals in an
  enthusiastic way
- Excellent oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner and reliability / willingness to meet and exceed your
  goals
- B.A. degree or equivalent education/training, preferably business
  oriented
- Able to perform research where necessary
- Charismatic person, neat appearance, and very good knowledge of
  English
- Solid computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with
  databases a plus
