Hi Moderator!
Rich Wales's website is indeed a good resource to start, but it only
addresses these questions in very general terms (and not specifically
for Switzerland). I would strongly advise people (as Rich does) to
consult the official websites (US State Dept, Swiss Embassy, etc.)
for actual information.
What I was suggesting in my previous email, however, was not to
provide general information, but rather to ask Swiss-listers to share
"real life" information from their personal experience that is
directly relevant for the Americano-Swiss to be. Is there any Swiss,
for instance, who became US citizen and later returned to Switzerland
permanently and experienced difficulties in CH or in the US because
of her/his dual citizenship status?
Best,
Pierre
