The Department of Electrical Engineering, EIVD, Yverdon, Switzerland
(http:www.eivd.ch) invites applications for two faculty positions at the
Professor level in the field of a) communication networks and b) transmission
technologies (e.g. wireless communications, communication electronics,
satellite communications, component-system issues, coding). Applicants should
have an earned Ph.D., demonstrated research ability and record of
accomplishment, and a strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Candidates do not have to speak French but should be willing to learn it. The
University of Applied Sciences (EIVD) at Yverdon is an equal opportunity
employer and encourages applications from women and minorities. Applications,
including a resume, a list of publications, a brief teaching and research plan,
and the name of at least three references should be sent as soon as possible to
