Dear Swiss-Listers,

The Virtual Reality and Active Interfaces (VRAI) Group of the EPFL is
currently seeking Master's and Ph.D. students for research internships. We
are currently working in the following applied areas:

  * Augmented reality for minimally invasive surgery (3D model update and
    visualization of pre- and intra- operative sensor data)

  * High-fidelity haptics (6-DOF large workspace and low-cost consumer
    devices)

  * Smart spaces (vision based interfaces, human/gesture recognition and
    parametric activity monitoring)

  * Vehicle teleoperation (novel interfaces and human-robot collaboration)
