Dear Alexej,

We had the same problem and obtained a credit card that helps you to
build your credit history. For such cards you will have to give a
amount e.g 1000.- (that you will recover when it will be finished,
1-2 years) and reimburse the spent money after each month. These
cards have a also fees.
Now, I believe that a good solution is simply to change your bank
account into another bank. In fact, there is some banks that provide
you without fee (e.g. Washington mutual) an atm card with a visa or
mastercard logo that you can use as a credit card. It is very nice
because you can use it world wide and better, the money is taken
directly into your bank account.

Good luck,

Greg
