Brennsprit can be found as 'Fondue Fuel', for example in
Andronico's (at least they had it the last time I checked).

Regarding Vachering: check the Cheesboard in Berkeley,
sometimes they used to have Vacherin, and they always have
great Gruyere and Emmentaler.
