Update on IDT calling cards,

Please note that the following updated rates do apply:

10c/min. per longdistance in US, no surcharge
14c/min. per call to Switzerland, no surcharge

They sell in packages of $25, $60, $100, $250 and are cheaper than the
12c/min offer from VoCall, compared for call durations up to 45Min.

Here is another tip for calling your loved ones...

I use IDT's Global Prepaid Call Card. It gives me a 8c a minute long
distance (anytime, anywhere), but there is a surcharge of 25 cents for the
first minute. For international calls, there is no surcharge and the rate
per minute is 12cents!

If you are interested in IDT, call their customer number at (800) 292 6713.
They also have great rates for all other countries (UK 10 cents).

This prepaid card can be purchased with any major credit card and is
available in packages of $15, $100 and $150.

Hi everyone!
I just re-ordered the prepaid calling cards I've been using to call
friends and family in Switzerland. The rate they currently offer is
pretty good: 12 cents/min. flat rate, and 15% off if you order $250 at a
time.
I've been using these cards for quite some time now, and I never
experienced any problems. However, you have to pay in advance, and (here
comes the catch) there is a surcharge of $1 per phone call. But still,
you can chat with your mother-in-law for a full hour and spend only
$8.20 ....
