Hi!

I would like to give add some details to the information on the waiver. As
for Fabio or Aline, the Immigration and Naturalization Service did his job
fast. It took them 2 weeks between the receipt notice and their letter of
approval for my waiver. This means that once the USIA has written a
favorable recommendation, it should not take long to get an answer from
INS (at least for swiss people). One should note that:

- INS can take the liberty of using the full 90 days to answer.

- The longest part is to deal with USIA.

- The reason I gave to obtain the waiver (last question on USIA sheet)
was simply to say that I was looking for a job in the USA.

- Even if everything seems to go fast and smoothly, do not wait for the
last minute. You might be the first with whom it takes
  unexpectedly longer...

Best regards,

Andreas
