Ross, TJMaxx and Mervyns have lots of pillows: Ross and TJMaxx mainly
polyester filled ones ($5-10), while Mervyns also carries a wider selection
of good quality down-filled ones for less than $25.

Tuesday Morning (http://www.tuesdaymorning.com/ - overstock liquidators) can
also be a good place to check - they're all over the Bay Area. Their stores
generally appear a little shabby and untidy (and full of kitsch), but don't
let that deter you. They're an unbeatable resource when it comes to finding
houshold and kitchen related "Schnaepchen" at rock-bottom prices. Since
their stock is constantly changing you might need to check a couple of their
stores, though.
