Furthermore, it will give you what American people call a real ID. It is advisable to actually read the driver's license handbook issued by the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle). Neither the theoretical nor the practical parts of the driver test are very difficult, but what European knows what CHP (California Highway Police) stands for?
